- Pull the upper and lower clip apart with a lot of force.
A slotted screwdriver can also be carefully inserted between the plastic clip and the carpet/mat and the click fastener can be opened by turning it slightly. - Remove the plastic parts.
- Attach new plastic parts so that the carpet/mat is between them and the recess in the carpet/mat matches the hole in the clip.
- Press the plastic parts together with force until you hear a “click”.
- Fit the carpet/mat in the vehicle.
